‘We are a not for profit, non-aligned group of like-minded people who have the needs and welfare of orphans and impoverished people in Viet Nam at heart.
We will work compassionately to see to those needs by providing food, clothing, medicines and necessities.
We will identify the need for larger projects and work to facilitate an outcome’.
Where we assist
“Operation Viet Nam Compassion” at present assists two orphanages in Ba Ria and a third in Sai Gon. The 1st. normally accommodates about 70 – 80 children, the 2nd. cares for about 110, including some of whom are physically or mentally disabled and the 3rd. cares for 40 orphaned children. We also assist impoverished persons in the Nui Dat area.
The Group has been carrying on this work since 2002 and is extremely proud of its efforts, as monies raised benefit orphans and impoverished in places where Australians served during the Viet Nam War. There are NO middlemen, NO kickbacks, NO paid positions and NO freebies.
