We would like to thank The Hackham Community Sports and Social Club (HCSSC) for their recent generous donation of $6,000. to the SAVCG.  The topic of the donation was raised at their board meeting in June but we were “gob-smacked” to say the least when the sum turned out to be as large as it was.

The presentation took place at the Aussie Inn with the HCSSC President, Mr Ray Whellum (a Viet Nam Veteran himself) presenting the cheque to our Chairman Lloyd Stevens , and joined in the photo above by Treasurer Wayne Honeychurch and Mrs Val Firth, HCSSC Vice President and the wife of a Viet Nam Navy Veteran.

We would like to thank all those involved for their support at the HCSSC. The $6,000 that was donated will go a long way in assisting with some projects this year.

We would also like to make a special mention to the Aussie Inn who continues to support the SAVCG and our efforts.
